JM J.Macsis Upgrade

If your guitar has treaded M8 bridge bushings the posts that come with your JM roller bridge will not work. However, as there is little to none rocking of this bridge, you can either use vintage M4/M8 adjustment post or you can drill the bridge holes to 6,5mm, allowing your standard LP style posts to fit. You should use a pillar drill and affix the bridge to a piece of wood, so your drill will not slip and cause damage.

Doesn’t fit Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster BEWARE

If your guitar has threaded bridge posts this roller bridge won’t work. As you can see in the photos, it neither slots into the existing threaded mounts, nor is it large enough in diameter to fill the holes if you remove the stock mounts.

Amazing intonation right out of the box

I've put the Guykur Roller Bridge for Jazzmasters on 3 of my guitars (2 Jazzmasters and 1 Jaguar). Super easy install — they fit really nicely into the existing thimble slots. I was astonished with the intonation out of the box — amazing stuff. Only a couple of small height and saddle adjustments needed. HIGHLY recommended — the bridge works so well with the tremolo system. Combined with the Guykur locking tuners this is such a great / easy upgrade.

Nice bridge especially for Mosrite tone

If you want a Mosrite type bridge, it is perfect. It provides a great reproduction of that bridge. Although there are a few assembly challenges. The bridge is higher but fits fine in a Jazzmaster professional. The bridge poles are a bit smaller so the bridge will move a luttle when the vibrato is used. I also had to swap out some of the intonation springs to get proper range. Overall nice tone and resonance at a good price.

Beautiful roller bridge.

This is a very nice roller bridge. I put it on a fender Telecaster with a B-5 bigsby tremolo system. Dropped right in, no problem. Looks and functions great.
