Holes too small...

I wanted the knobs for my Musicman Stingray 5.
2 of 4 of the holes in the knobs had a diameter just too small to fit over the original Musicman potentiometers for Volumen/Treble/Mid/Bass.
I could (easily) solve the problem by carfully using a drill and widening the holes.
After this, the knobs fitted over the potis.
Next problem: The inside edge of the knobs (which should cover the nuts holding the potentionmeters on the outside/surface of the bass guitar) have a too small diameter to entirely fit over the (hexagon) nuts. So one has to either lift the knobs a tiny bit or feel the scratching of the inside edge on the nuts...
Knobs work and look good, but... see above...
Please see to it that borings/edges fit with potentiometers used on the main brands (Fender, Musicman, etc...).
